Black metal theme innit.

Odin comes in a top panel version and a bottom panel version, you'll see why if you try to use the top panel version in a bottom panel layout, or vice versa. If you have a top+bottom panel setup - this theme ain't for you :)

good idea to use the metal effect on buttons..

only the strech on the space bar texture.. looks a bit disturbing

when i try to manually install and extract to usr/share/themes/ it says that i don't have the permission to extract it to there, and i'm not sure what ~/.themes/ is or where it is...
if you could please help that would be awesome.

Just open your home folder in Nautilus/file browser, press CTRL+H to see hidden folders, then select ".themes". If no such folder exists, simply create it (and remember the dot at the beginning of the name).

btw there is a big update to this theme coming soon, so you might wanna check back if you get it to work :)

so then after i unzip it to the ".themes" folder i created. how do i then find it in my settings to make it my theme?

Open Cinnamon Settings, click "Themes", choose "Loki".

I'm very curious how you have the authentication and shutdown windows to use the cinnamon theme instead of the gtk theme.

Me too! :) That can't be controlled on theme level but I wish my Cinnamon used the Cinnamon theme for as much as possible, what's your Cinnamon/OS setup?
